Objective:To explore the effect of nursing strategies based on TCM theory on the quality of life of patients with ankylosing spondylitis.Methods:A total of 120 patients with ankylosing spondylitis treated from June 1,2021 to August 1,2023 were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,with 60 cases in each group.The routine nurs-ing care was taken in the control group,and the nursing strategies based on TCM were adopted in the experimental group.The clinical signs,joint function,sleep quality(PSQI),the syndrome score of TCM,quality of life(GQOLI-74)and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:After intervention,the thoracic expansion,occipital-wall distance,and morning stiffness time in the experimental group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01).The BASFI score,PSQI score and syndrome score of TCM in the experimental group were lower than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.01).The scores of material life,physical function,psychological function and social function in GQOLI-74 of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.01).The satisfaction of patients in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Nursing strategies based on TCM theory can improve the clinical signs,joint function,sleep quality,quality of life and satisfaction of patients with ankylosing spondylitis.
