Tail gas hydrogenation catalyst plays an important role in the improvement of to-tal sulfur recovery,the CO containing in the process gas has the reduction effect,and it will re-act with SO2,S and H2S into COS,which is an unexpected side reaction.In order to reduce negative effect of CO to the hydrogenation reaction,the hydrogenation catalyst was replaced with the multifunctional Claus tail gas hydrogenation catalyst LSH-03G developed by SINOPEC Qilu Branch Research Institute.The catalyst has excellent SO2 hydrogenation activity,organic sulfur hydrolysis activity and CO conversion activity.The problem of high CO content in Claus tail gas can be effectively solved,and volume conversion rate of CO reaches over 98％.
