For the selective catalytic reduction(SCR)boiler denitrification device,impor-tant indicators to measure its operating status include denitrification efficiency, ammonia con-sumption per ton of steam, ammonia injection volume, and ammonia escape rate. The uniformi-ty of ammonia injection is one of the important factors affecting the ammonia escape rate,deni-trification efficiency, and ammonia injection volume of the SCR system. The distribution of NO and O2 after SCR denitrification was measured through on-site experiments, and a three-di-mensional model of the vortex mixer and its flue in the denitrification device was established.Based on computational fluid dynamics(CFD)theory, the flow field of the vortex mixer and its flue in the denitrification device was three dimensional numerically calculated using FLUENT software.Based on the experimental results and numerical calculation analysis, the uniformity of ammonia injection was optimized and adjusted, the ammonia escape rate and ammonia injection volume were reduced, the denitration efficiency of SCR system was improved, and certain eco-nomic benefits were obtained.
