This paper reviews the research progress of metal corrosion inhibitors.Lately,as science and technology continue to develop,the demand for metallic materials is increasing day by day.Metallic materials are indispensable in many promising fields because of their high mechanical strength and good durability.However,metal materials are prone to corrosion,and the presence of corrosion inhibitors can stall or slow down the corrosion process of metals,with the increased awareness of sustainable development,environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors will certainly become the future development trend.Environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors can be divided into inorganic corrosion inhibitors,organic corrosion inhibitors.This paper highlights some of the commonly used environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors,and the prospects for their development.
