Corrosion and Protection of Equipment in Refining and Chemical Plant
At present,there are some corrosion problems in oil refining and chemical production units due to inferior crude oil processing,design defects and improper operation.In order to better control the corrosion problems,this paper analyzes the causes of corrosion problems and gives protective suggestions based on the corrosion problems found daily in atmospheric and vacuum,hydrocracking,sulfur recovery and ethylene cracking units.On the whole,the corrosion protection of equipment in refining and chemical equipment should be based on reasonable selection of materials,strengthening corrosion monitoring and prevention and control,strengthening process corrosion protection,and forming a scientific corrosion prevention management system,which is important for ensuring the safe production and long-term operation of the equipment.
