Corrosion Status and Analysis of Inlet Line of Circulating Hydrogen Compressor K701A
As the key equipment in hydrogenation unit, the safety and reliability of circulating hydrogen compressor plays an important role in ensuring the safe production and economic benefits of the whole unit.Recently, the partial(weld)of the inlet pipeline of circulating hydrogen compressor K701A in kerosene hydrogenation unit of a petrochemical company cracked and leaked.Through the analysis of the material, metallography and electron microscopy of the base metal and welding, the corrosion causes of the pipeline are studied. The results show that the leakage of the pipeline weld is caused by the joint action of pipeline vibration(alternating load),local stress concentration(weld)and the corrosion of the medium in the pipeline, which leads to corrosion fatigue cracking of the pipeline.
