Research on Corrosion Prevention of Sulfuric Acid Plant Process
In recent years, with the increasingly strict national environmental protection laws and regulations, sulfur dioxide flue gas has been listed as a key emission reduction target by the country. The emission reduction and recovery of sulfur dioxide has become a major issue that urgently needs to be broken through in the field of environmental protection.GB31570-2105"Emission Standards for Pollutants in the Petroleum Refining Industry stipulates that the mass concentration of sulfur dioxide in the flue gas discharged from acidic gas recovery devices is generally not greater than 400mg/m3 in special areas and not greater than 100mg/m3.Some provinces and cities require that the mass concentration of sulfur dioxide in the flue gas discharged should not exceed 50mg/m3 or even lower[1-4].At present, sulfuric acid plants are widely used in the petrochemical industry for sulfur recovery,so the research on anti-corrosion during their use has become a key task.Considering the complex causes of corrosion in sulfuric acid plants and the high risks and hidden dangers, this article analyzes the distribution and mechanism of corrosion media in a certain refinery's sulfuric acid plant based on the corrosion situation, and proposes suggestions for prevention.
