Research on the Internal Corrosion Mechanism of a Water Injection Pipeline in Bohai Sea
The internal detection data by MFL of a water injection pipeline in the Bohai Sea during 2020 revealed that there were a total of 107,093 internal defects,with the maximum depth of damage reaching 60.1%,which has severely impacted the safety of the pipeline.In order to further investigate and ascertain the corrosion mechanism within this particular subsea pipeline,this study employed various approaches including production component analysis,scale sample analysis,chemical reagent analysis,and corrosion simulation experiments.Through these comprehensive research methods,the intrinsic corrosion mechanism of the pipeline was ultimately determined.
