Corrosion Analysis of Fire Water Pipeline in a Nuclear Power Plant
The fire sprinkler pipes of the conventional island sprinkler system of a nuclear power plant frequently suffer from corrosion and perforation. This article systematically analyzes the operating environment, regular testing procedures,anti-corrosion measures, and corrosion morphology characteristics of fire sprinkler pipelines. On the surface of the results, the fire sprinkler pipeline designed with internal and external galvanized anti-corrosion measures is a pre action fire extinguishing system with internal air circulation. After conducting regular tests, some horizontally arranged pipelines have residual water, which causes corrosion perforation under oxygen-containing conditions.
