Research on Anti-corrosion Technology of Reinforced Concrete Inside Reservoirs
Since its completion in 2008,a certain reservoir has played an irreplaceable role in local agricultural irrigation and domestic water use. However, due to the characteristics of the mountainous environment, such as high humidity and frequent rainfall, the reinforced concrete structure of the reservoir faces serious corrosion risks. This article conducts a detailed analysis of the corrosion status of reinforced concrete in water reservoirs, and finds that chemical corrosion and microbial corrosion are the main destructive factors. Therefore, this study adopted multiple anti-corrosion measures, including selecting materials with high anti-corrosion performance for repair and protection, implementing high-pressure water jet technology for cleaning, epoxy resin repair and coating application, and using silane waterproofing agents and concrete impermeability additives.Practice has shown that these comprehensive anti-corrosion measures significantly improve the safety and durability of water reservoirs.
