Causes and Measures of Pump Cavitation Damage in Pumping Station
with the continuous improvement of hydraulic engineering investment and construction level,pumps are more and more widely used in water hydraulic engineering.However,in practice pump cavitation is still a common phenomenon,which not only has a great impact on the pump life and productivity,but also increased operating costs.In the installation and use of pumps,it is necessary to understand the performance of equipment,correct operation and maintenance,in order to make the normal operation of pumps,extend the service life of equipment.Jingdian project is a multi-stage water diversion project with high water head.The multi-stage pumping station takes water directly from the Yellow River.All the sediment in the water supply passes through the various pumping stations.The unit energy consumption increases,even scrap,greatly shortening the service life of the pump.In view of this problem,the causes and elimination methods of cavitation wear of water pump are discussed.
