Monitoring The Protection Provided by The Anodes Used in Repair of Steel Reinforced Concrete in Nuclear Plant
Most nuclear plant near by sea in china,the corrosion of the steel reinforced concrete is non-ignorable because of the marine atmospheric environment.The traditional repair method namely"local patching"is not so effective.It can significantly reduce the repetitive repair to use the embedded anode for the steel reinforced concrete,what is more,it has the advantages of simple installation,no maintenance and management in the future,and it can provide more effective protection for steel in steel reinforced concrete.It was found that the potential of reinforcing bars descend significantly in the area installed embedded anode,and while beyond it descend not so significantly by monitoring the potential of the steel bars.It can be concluded that the reinforcing bars are well protected in the area of repair with the anodes.
