Application Research on In-situ Testing Technology for Offshore Wind Power Construction Projects
Geological survey is required before the construction of offshore wind power projects to determine the physical and mechanical properties of the soil under the seabed, the bearing capacity of the foundation, and the possibility of soil liquefaction. The sediment on the seabed is soft, thick, saturated, and easily disturbed, and the data indicators such as drilling sampling and geotechnical testing may differ from the actual situation. In situ testing techniques represented by static cone penetration can be used as auxiliary means to compensate for these shortcomings and gradually develop in the field of marine geological exploration. This article elaborates on the application of CPT equipment and data acquisition system in a geological survey project for a new offshore wind power construction project, and compares it with other in-situ testing methods to study the practicality of CPT technology in the field of marine exploration.
