The Practical Application of Horizontal Directional Drilling Construction Technology in Water Conveyance Engineering
Horizontal directional drilling construction technology has become the preferred technical means for laying water transmission pipelines under complex geological conditions due to its advantages of high construction efficiency and minimal disturbance to the ecological environment.This article takes the emergency water supply project of Zhuanglang in the second phase of Yintao as an example to explore the practical application of horizontal directional drilling construction technology.Based on the actual situation of the project,this paper provides a detailed introduction to the construction process of horizontal directional drilling,including key technical links such as equipment layout and installation,mud configuration,directional hole drilling,hole expansion and cleaning,backhaul pipeline,and sedimentation tank setting.Practice has shown that through precise design and construction process control,challenges brought by terrain and geological conditions have been successfully overcome,ensuring efficient and safe execution of the project.
