Analysis of Corrosion Causes in Delayed Operation Pipeline and Research on Integrity Management Methods
Currently,there have been multiple accidents in China where oil pipelines that have not been put into operation have leaked during the pressure testing process before being put into operation after being placed for a period of time.The reason for internal corrosion is that the pipeline was not dried after pressure testing and water sweeping,and the sealing and subsequent management measures were not perfect,resulting in corrosion on the inner wall of the pipeline.After comparing and analyzing relevant domestic and foreign standards,it was found that there are shortcomings in existing construction methods in China.Based on relevant domestic and foreign standards and advanced practices of construction units,corrosion prevention and control methods for delayed operation pipelines were proposed from four aspects:pipeline cleaning measures,pressure testing,drying and sealing,and detection and monitoring during delayed operation,providing reference for failure prevention and integrity management of delayed operation pipelines.
