With the rapid development of urbanization,the transformation of old residential areas has become an important part of urban renewal.The selection and application of exterior wall materials directly affect the effect of reconstruction and the quality of life of residents.The purpose of this paper is to discuss the effect,performance and existing problems of exterior wall design in the reconstruction of old residential areas,and put forward corresponding suggestions.
