某储罐服役17年后,拆开保温层后发现罐壁发生大面积腐蚀,常规腐蚀测厚技术无法开展腐蚀检测工作.本文采用搭载脉冲涡流探头的爬行机器人开展储罐C扫描壁厚测量,成功获得储罐的壁厚腐蚀减薄情况.结果表明储罐壁厚减薄程度未超过腐蚀裕度,开展防腐维修后可继续使用.
Application of Pulse Eddy Current C-San Technology in Corrosion Detection of Tank
A storage tank with insulation layer that has been in service for 17 years was found to have extensive corrosion on the tank wall after removing the insulation layer.Conventional corrosion thickness measurement methods cannot carry out corrosion detection work.This article uses a crawling robot equipped with a pulse eddy current probe to conduct C-scan wall thickness measurement of storage tanks,effectively obtaining the corrosion thinning situation of the storage tanks.The thickness reduction of the surface storage tank wall did not exceed the corrosion allowance,and it can continue to be used after anti-corrosion maintenance.
