Research on Mix Design and Strength Test Detection of Cement Concrete
This paper discusses the key factors in the mix design of cement concrete and their impact on concrete performance, including sand ratio,water-cement ratio, and strength control. It analyzes the essential points of mix design for cement concrete used in highway pavements, such as determining the water-cement ratio based on the highway grade, setting a reasonable sand ratio, and the trial mixing process of the mix design. The basis for strength testing of cement concrete is studied, considering the influence of highway grade, axle load standards, temperature conditions, and foundation conditions on the strength requirements of concrete. The application of the flexural method in the testing of concrete compressive strength is explored, including the instrumentation requirements, preparation and curing of test specimens, test procedures and methods, and evaluation of test results. The aim is to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the design and construction of highway pavement materials.
