Application of Fiberglass Reinforcement Technology in Corrosion Defects of Aviation Oil Pipelines
The corrosion defects caused by third-party damage and damage to the anti-corrosion layer are the main risk factors threatening the safe operation of in-service oil pipelines.Due to the characteristics of high specific strength,high specific modulus,good adhesion performance,no open flame operation during construction,safety,efficiency,and speed,and no need for shutdown,fiberglass composite materials have been applied in the maintenance and overhaul of oil and gas pipelines.This article mainly starts with the repair principle and specific application advantages of fiberglass reinforcement technology,and elaborates on the basic principle of fiberglass reinforcement repair technology,as well as the main components of the reinforcement layer and construction points.At the same time,practical application cases of fiberglass composite material reinforcement technology in oil and gas pipelines,especially aviation oil pipelines,were explained,and good results were achieved in reinforcement and repair.
