Effect of comprehensive nursing in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage by uterine artery embolization
Objective:To clarify the effectiveness of comprehensive nursing in the interventional treat-ment of postpartum hemorrhage through uterine artery embolization. Methods:A total of 50 patients with post-partum hemorrhage who underwent uterine artery embolization intervention in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 25 cases in each group. The basic nursing scheme was used for the patients in the control group, while the comprehensive nursing scheme was applied for those in the observation group. The clinical observation indicators, satisfaction with nursing, and nursing outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results:The observation group had a shorter hemostatic time, operation duration, ambulation time, and hospitalization duration compared to the control group, with a significantly reduced postoperative blood loss(P<0.05).The satisfaction with nursing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).The observation group also had a higher success rate of one-time embolization and a lower incidence of complications compared to the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with postpartum hemorrhage undergoing uterine artery embolization intervention,com-prehensive nursing services yield good results and are of high value for clinical application.
