Impact of Teamwork Comfort Care on Recovery Time and Self-care Ability in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Myomectomy
Objective:To determine the impact of teamwork comfort care on recovery time and self-care ability in patients undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy. Methods:A total of 110 patients who underwent laparoscopic myomectomy were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group(55 cases each)using a random number table. The control group received standard care, while the observation group received standard care combined with teamwork comfort care. The surgical duration, postoperative recovery time, and self-care ability(assessed by theESCAScale)were compared between the two groups. Results:The observa-tion group had shorter durations for surgery, time to get out of bed, time to first flatus, and hospital stay com-pared to the control group(P<0.05).At 3 months postoperatively, the observation group scored higher in all ESCA scale dimensions compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementation of teamwork comfort care for patients undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy reduces recovery time and enhances their self-care ability, demonstrating a significant effect.
