Clinical Efficacy of Stratified Intervention Combined with Dietary Counseling in Patients with Acute Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding
Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of stratified intervention combined with dietary counseling in acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding(AUGIB).Method:From June 2021 to June 2022,82 pa-tients with AUGIB treated in our hospital were divided into a control group(41 cases)and a combined group(41 cases)according to a random number table method;the control group received dietary guidance, while the com-bined group received stratified intervention on top of the dietary guidance.Self-management scores, nutritional indices, and incidence of adverse reactions during follow-up were compared between the two groups.Results:Follow-up at three months revealed that the combined group had significantly higher scores in diet, medication use, condition monitoring, daily life activities, total scores,as well as levels of hemoglobin(Hb),transferrin(TRF),and blood urea nitrogen(BUN)compared to the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was also significantly lower in the combined group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of strati-fied intervention combined with dietary counseling in patients with AUGIB shows favorable prognosis, significantly improving patients'nutritional status and enhancing their self-management capabilities.
