Impact of 5 A Nursing Model Focused on Dietary Nutrition on Glycemic Control Stability and Psychological Status in Type 2 Diabetes Patients Managed by Metabolic Ward Care
Objective:To investigate the intervention effect of a 5A nursing model focused on dietary nu-trition on glycemic stability and psychological status in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients managed by a standardized Metabolic Disease Management Center(MMC).Methods:One hundred T2DM patients were randomly divided into a control group(n=50)receiving routine care and an intervention group(n=50)adop-ting the 5A nursing model emphasizing dietary nutrition.Pre-and post-intervention levels of blood glucose, glycemic stability, and psychological status were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing intervention, the intervention group showed significantly lower levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),glycosy-lated hemoglobin(HbA1c),and mean amplitude of glycemic excursion(MAGE)compared to the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores were also lower in the intervention group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementation of a 5A nursing model centered on dietary nutrition in the MMC management of T2DM patients effectively reduces blood glucose levels, enhances glycemic stability, and improves psychological well-being.
