The Role of Evidence-based Perioperative Nursing in Congenital Intestinal Atresia Infants and Its Impact on Reoperation Rates and Incidence of Complications
Objective:To clarify the application value of evidence-based nursing in the perioperative period of congenital intestinal atresia infants. Methods:One hundred cases of congenital intestinal atresia in-fants were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group of 50 cases received evidence-based nurs-ing during the perioperative period, while the control group of 50 cases received conventional nursing. The reop-eration rates, incidence of complications, and family satisfaction with nursing services were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower reoperation rates, shorter hospital stays, lower incidence of complications, and higher family satisfaction with clinical nursing serv-ices.All these differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing evidence-based nursing interventions in the perioperative care of infants with congenital intestinal atresia effectively short-ens the duration of hospitalization, reduces the need for secondary surgical interventions, lowers the risk of sur-gical complications, and enhances family satisfaction with nursing care.
