Intervention Effect of Solution-Focused Approach on Psychological Nursing for Patients with Vertigo Syndrome and Its Impact on Activities of Daily Living
Objective:To analyze the intervention effect of the solution-focused approach on psycholog-ical care for patients with vertigo syndrome and its impact on their daily living abilities. Methods:Eighty pa-tients with vertigo syndrome admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into a control group and an observa-tion group(40 cases each)using opaque envelope allocation. The control group received routine nursing care, whereas the observation group was subjected to the solution-focused approach.Negative emotions, daily living abilities, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing intervention, both groups showed decreased scores in the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),with the observation group exhibiting significantly lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).The Barthel Index scores, indicative of daily living abilities, increased in both groups, with the observation group showing a higher increase than the control group(P<0.05).Moreover,the ob-servation group had higher scores in the Short Form-36 Health Survey(SF-36)and nursing satisfaction com-pared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The solution-focused approach plays a pivotal role in the psychological care of patients with vertigo syndrome, facilitating improvements in negative emotions and dai-ly living abilities,as well as enhancing the quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
