Effect of Ganciclovir Combined with Nebulized Recombinant Human Interferon α1b on Inflammatory Factors and Immune Function in Children with Respiratory Syncytial Virus-Infected Pneumonia
Objective:To analyze the effects of ganciclovir combined with nebulized recombinant human interferon α1b on inflammatory factors and immune function in children with respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)-infected pneumonia. Methods:A total of 100 children with RSV-infected pneumonia admitted to our hospi-tal were selected as study subjects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The levels of inflammatory factors including pro-calcitonin(PCT),interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),and immunoglobulin IgA,IgG,IgM were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The time for disappearance of symptoms and signs was recorded in detail, and adverse symptoms during treatment were analyzed. Results:After treatment, the observation group had shorter durations of persistent fever, cough, dyspnea, and lung rales compared with the control group(P<0.05).The serum levels of PCT,IL-6,and CRP were lower in the observation group(P<0.05),while the serum levels of IgG,IgA,and IgM were significantly higher(P<0.05).During treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of nausea,vomiting,leukope-nia,and rash between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combined use of ganciclovir and nebuliz-ed recombinant human interferon α1b in children with RSV-infected pneumonia can shorten the duration of symptoms and signs, reduce inflammatory reactions, improve immune function, and have relatively good safety.
