The Application Value of MRI in Diagnosis and Staging of Endometrial Cancer Patients
Objective:To investigate the application value of MRI in the diagnosis and staging of endom-etrial cancer patients. Methods:A total of 190 cases of endometrial cancer patients admitted to our hospital from August 2019 to August 2023 were selected. All patients underwent surgical treatment after confirmation of diag-nosis.Preoperative MRI was used to determine the stage, with postoperative pathological examination results serving as the gold standard. The accuracy of MRI in preoperative staging diagnosis of endometrial cancer pa-tients was evaluated. Results:Pathological examination revealed 127 cases at Stage Ⅰ,47 cases at Stage Ⅱ,and 16 cases at Stage Ⅲ.Preoperative MRI assessments indicated 116 cases at Stage Ⅰ,58 cases at Stage Ⅱ,and 16 cases at Stage Ⅲ,with accuracies of 91.34%,81.03%,and 100%,respectively.No statistically significant difference was found between the two sets of data(P>0.05).Conclusion:MRI demonstrates high accuracy in staging diagnosis of endometrial cancer patients, showing no significant difference compared to pathological examination results, and thus possesses considerable clinical application value.
