Effect of rat nerve growth factor combined with prednisone in the treatment of sudden deafness and its influence on coagulation index
Objective:To investigate the effect of combined treatment of mouse nerve growth factor(NGF)and prednisone on patients with sudden deafness and its impact on coagulation indicators.Methods:80 patients with sudden deafness were ran-domly divided into a control group(n=40)and a treatment group(n=40);Prednisone treatment and observation group n=40;The combined treatment of NGF and prednisone was compared in terms of overall efficacy, clinical symptom scores, and coagula-tion indicators. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group[37/40(92.50%)]was higher than that of the control group[30/40(75.00%)],with a significant difference ofx2=4.501 and P=0.034.Be-fore treatment, there was no significant difference in clinical symptom scores for vertigo, deafness, and tinnitus between the two groups. After treatment, both groups showed a decrease in scores(P<0.001),and the obser-vation group showed a lower score than the control group, with significant differences t=3.476,P<0.001,t=2.928,P=0.005,t=2.435,P=0.017.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in coagulation indicators between the two groups. After treatment, both groups showed an increase in PT and APTT(P<0.001)and a decrease in FIB(P<0.001).The observation group had higher PT and APTT than the control group(t=2.342,P=0.022,t=2.231,P=0.029),and lower FIB than the control group(t=3.717,P<0.001).Conclusion:The combination of NGF and prednisone can improve the clinical symptoms and coagulation indicators of patients with sudden deafness, and enhance the therapeutic effect.
