Study on the Efficacy and Safety of Metformin,Dapagliflozin Combined with Intensive Insulin Therapy in Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of metformin, dapagliflozin combined with intensive insulin ther-apy in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods:Newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into a control group(n=60,treated with intensive insulin therapy)and an observation group(n=59,treated with intensive insulin therapy combined with metformin and dapagliflozin).Blood glucose levels, insulin secretion in-dicators,blood lipid levels, body mass index(BMI),inflammatory factors, oxidative stress indicators, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The blood glucose levels in the observation group were significantly bet-ter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The improvement in insulin secretion indicators in the observa-tion group was significantly better(P<0.05).The levels of TC,LDL-C,TG,and BMI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the level of HDL-C was higher(P<0.05).The de-tection values of IL-17A,IL-23,MDA,and SOD in the observation group were significantly better, with sig-nificant differences compared to the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the ob-servation group(5.85%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(36.67%)(P<0.05).Conclusion:Metformin,dapagliflozin combined with intensive insulin therapy in newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus can effectively reduce blood glucose levels, improve insulin secretion indicators, reduce adverse reactions, and have high safety, which is worthy of promotion.
