Analysis of the Current Situation and Preventive Measures of Hypertension in Elderly People in a C ommunity in Duyun City
Objective:To investigate the prevalence and control status of hypertension in elderly people in a community in Qiannan Prefecture,and propose health education and prevention measures to provide theoretical support for improving the healthy life of the elderly.Methods:217 elderly people aged 65 and over with hypertension in a community in Duyun City from August 2022 to August 2023 were collected for four blood pressure measurements.The results of the four measurements were analyzed for trend analysis,exploring the regularity of blood pressure changes and the importance of health education for elderly people with hy-pertension.Results:In 2022,the blood pressure control rate of elderly people aged 65 and over in the communi-ty was 59.96％,and in 2023,it was 64.95％;The trend analysis of the four blood pressure measurements showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the systolic blood pressure between the first time point and the third and fourth time points,and there was a statistically significant difference in the diastolic blood pressure between the first time point and the fourth time point,with P＜0.05.Conclusion:According to the control of hypertension in the elderly in the community and the trend of the results of four blood pressure measurements,it is impor-tant for the community health service center to implement effective health education,dietary intervention and other preventive meas-ures to control hypertension,which is worth learning.
