With the rapid development of tourism industry, cultural exchange is more and more frequent and thus an increasing number of foreign friends are attracted to Kham Tibetan areas. The translation of tourism texts, as one of the most important way for foreign tourists to get tourist information, plays a very significant role. This article is to analyze the translation restricted to national culture, and find some strategies to translate proper names with characteristics of K_ham Tibetan areas, folk and religious custom, and some historic and cultural words.
