Study on making technology and properties of hemp fiber paper
A series of hemp fiber paper was produced using hemp noil fiber and bleached softwood pulp, and its properties were characterized. The technological conditions of the beater were analyzed.Due to the small diameter of hemp fibers, fine fibers are easily generated during the beating process, resulting in an increase in beating degree but making it difficult to cut off some long fibers.Composite pulp paper consisting of different proportions of hemp fiber and bleached softwood pulp was prepared, and the effects of varying proportions and quantities on the paper's properties were investigated. The tensile strength of the paper is optimal when the proportion of dry pulp is 30%.While the content of hemp pulp positively correlates with folding resistance, higher quantities lead to improved physical properties. The hemp fiber was processed well, and the fine fiber and the bleached softwood fiber were fully interwoven.
