Experimental study on mechanical properties of straw foam concrete
In recent years,China has higher and higher requirements for building energy saving and building environmental protection.Straw foam concrete is a kind of building material with good thermal insulation and thermal insulation properties. However,at present, the research on its mechanical properties is not perfect, which affects its use in the stressed members,so the experimental research on its mechanical properties is carried out in this paper. The results show that both the foam mass fraction and the straw mass fraction have an effect on the fluidity of straw foamed concrete, and the foam mass fraction has an obvious effect on the fluidity. When the foam mass fraction increases from 10%to 30%,the slump increases from 122 mm to 212 mm.The higher the mass fraction of foam and straw, the lower the mechanical properties of straw foamed concrete.Especially when the foam mass fraction is greater than 20%,the mechanical properties decline is particularly prominent, the compressive performance decline rate reaches 60%,and the flexural performance decline rate also reaches 46%.Therefore,the foam mass fraction of this type of foam concrete should not be greater than 20%.Therefore,when preparing straw foam concrete,it is necessary to consider the balance of foam mass fraction and straw mass fraction to meet the requirements of material properties and applications.
