Operation and Management Experience of Large Scientific Facilities in Major Countries
Large scientific facilities are an important symbol of a country's technological competitiveness and a support guarantee for conducting cutting-edge scientific research and promoting technological innovation and development.Major countries in the world,such as the United States,Germany,Russia,and Japan,attach great importance to promoting the layout and construction of large scientific facilities.This paper studies the development of major countries'large scientific facilities construction,analyzes typical operation and management cases of large scientific facilities such as the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in the United States,the European X-ray Free Electron Laser Facility,and the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex,and deeply studies and summarizes the experience and practices of various countries in the construction investment,overall management,open sharing,and achievement transformation and application of large scientific facilities.Based on these,it proposes countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the construction and development of large science facilities in China.
