Comparative Study on Research Integrity Network Promotion and Education in First-class Universities in China,the United States,and the Netherlands
University official websites serve as a crucial platform for promoting research integrity education in universities.This paper utilizes a combination of online research methods and content analysis to investigate the content related to research integrity education made publicly available on the official websites of 39 first-class universities in China,the United States,and the Netherlands.A comprehensive comparative analysis was conducted across eight aspects,including the construction of research integrity webpages(columns),accessibility of research integrity education information,differences in research integrity education resources,focus areas of research integrity promotion,variations in the roles of part-time and full-time organizations responsible for research integrity,the establishment of research integrity officer positions,reporting channels for academic misconduct,and the disclosure of academic misconduct cases.Based on this analysis,specific recommendations for enhancing research integrity promotion and education on Chinese university official websites are provided.
