In the paper,the failure rate and operation of the new generation weather radar in Guangdong Province are.Based on systematically analyzed and evaluated the statistics of fault frequency,fault time,fault location and fault duration,the current situation of radar in operation guarantee are analyzed and the improvement methods are proposed.By establishing the evaluation index system of weather radar operation capability,the business assessment radar of the whole province is evaluated according to various data that can reflect the radar operation ability.
