Comparison of technical indexes for X-band phased-array weather radar antenna before and after operation
The article conducted tests on the main antenna technical indicators of the AXPT0364 X-band dual polarization phased array weather radar in Panyu and Huadu, including beam width, beam accuracy, maximum side-lobe level, cross polarization isolation, dual polarization beam angle error, and 3dB beam width error. The test results before and after operation showed that the overall technical indicators of the two phased array weather radars still met the the X-band dual polarization one-dimensional phased array weather radar testing outline and original factory requirements after 3 years of operation. However, the maximum side-lobe level and cross polarization isolation showed a downward trend, which needs to be given special attention in future business operations.
