CINRAD clutter analysis and its data quality control
In order to solve the problem of various clutter pollution in the current CINRAD base data, this article proposes a method based on radar data sequence autocorrelation, which extracts target distance base data, fills the empty database with meteorological feature values, forms a data sequence, and obtains the data quality index of the base data from the autocorrelation of the sequence. The data quality index values of reflectivity factor, radial velocity, and spectral width data were combined to classify and identify multiple types of clutter, including meteorological target echoes, wind turbine clutter, electromagnetic interference clutter, residual clutter, and scattered clutter. The minimum interpolation method was used to achieve clutter suppression in the reflectivity factor data.Comparing the clutter suppression effects of radar base data under different weather conditions,it is shown that while suppressing clutter, meteorological echo data can be well preserved.
