摘要

为了发挥双偏振雷达在本地化气象监测中的作用,通过分析2020-2022年烟台双偏振雷达探测范围内出现的典型冰雹天气过程,统计降雹时对应的双偏振雷达基本数据产品特征,针对不同尺寸冰雹,统计分析双偏振参量阈值.分析表明:纯冰雹区对应双偏振参量差分反射率因子、相关系数、差分传播相移率均为极小值;小冰雹或融化冰雹绝大部分差分反射率因子大于0.9 dB,相关系数一般大于0.9;大冰雹的差分反射率因子、相关系数相较小冰雹更小,差分传播相移率大,表明降雹区混合了雨滴,差分传播相移率空值影响阈值统计;分析双偏振参量差分反射率因子、相关系数、差分传播相移率可以验证冰雹落区,使查找三体散射特征更加容易.

Abstract

In order to leverage the role of dual polarization radar in localized meteorological monitoring,typical hail weather processes occurring within the detection range of Yantai dual polarization radar from 2020 to 2022 were analyzed,and the basic data product characteristics of dual polarization radar corresponding to hail were statistically analyzed.For hail of different sizes,dual polarization parameter thresholds were statistically analyzed.Analysis shows that the dual polarization parameter differential reflectance factor,correlation coefficient,and differential propagation phase shift rate corresponding to pure hail areas are all extremely small.Most of the differential reflectance factors of small hail or melted hail are greater than 0.9 dB,and the correlation coefficient is generally greater than 0.9.The differential reflectance factor and correlation coefficient of large hail are smaller than those of small hail,and the differential propagation phase shift rate is higher,indicating that the hail area is mixed with raindrops.The null value of the differential propagation phase shift rate affects the threshold statistics.Analyzing the dual polarization parameter differential reflectance factor,correlation coefficient,and differential propagation phase shift rate can verify the hail falling area,making it easier to search for the characteristics of the three body scattering TBSS.
