Triple Characteristics of the New Form of Human Civilization from the Perspective of Strengthening Historical Initiative
As the essential requirement of Chinese modernization,creating a new form of human civilization has become an important measure for the new era and the new journey to strengthen historical initiative.On the basis of understanding the relation between the new form of human civilization and Chinese modernization from different angles,this paper focuses on strengthening historical initiative to understand its characteristics of the times from the perspectives of the realistic basis,international environment and historical changes,and comprehends its leading role from the perspectives of the leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC)transcending the multi-party competition system,the people's center position transcending the capital logic,the people's democracy transcending Western liberal democracy,the concept of peaceful diplomacy transcending the hegemonic logic,and the community with a shared future for mankind transcending the clash of civilizations theory.This paper also tries to understand its identifying features from the perspectives of promoting China's academic research from passive solution search to active question proposal,reflecting the CPC's great foresight and promoting the profound reform of China's philosophy and social science discourse system.An accurate understanding of the characteristics of the times,the leading role and identifying features of the new form of human civilization is conducive to enhancing historical cognition and better strengthening the historical initiative of the new era and the new journey.
