Analysis of Indian Think Tanks'Viewpoints of the"Global South"
Studying the perceptions of Indian think tanks on the"Global South"helps understand India's diplomatic orientation and policy direction,thereby formulating targeted strategies towards India.This paper selects 26 documents from 9 representative Indian think tanks as research samples,using content analysis to examine their main perceptions and characteristics regarding the"Global South".Indian think tank scholars focus on the connotations and impacts of the"Global South",the challenges it faces,and potential solutions.They pay attention to the content,nature,and characteristics of China's"Global South"diplomacy and perceive China's"Global South"diplomacy as comprising a series of"initiatives"with"confrontational"characteristic.In response,it is crucial to strengthen Sino-Indian dialogue and cooperation,reduce India's wrong perception of China,actively address India's development needs within the"Global South",jointly shape the"global South"community of shared future,fully leverage the efficacy of think tank diplomacy,strengthen the non-governmental cooperation between China and India,and refine the discourse system to counteract India's negative perceptions of China.
