The Organizational Form of the Digital Economy:Digital Platforms and Their Evolution
The development of digital technology,network technology,intelligent technology,and the improvement of algorithms and computing power have laid the foundation for the development of digital productive forces and the digital transformation of production methods.Data becomes a kind of resource and is further developed into an important factor of production.Digital platforms become an important form of economic organization.In this context,this paper explores the changes in economic organizational forms in various historical periods of human society and demonstrates the inevitability of the emergence of platforms as a new type of economic organization in the digital economy era.Platform economy organizations are based on the information industry and gradually influence fields such as other services and manufacturing.They have broken through the boundaries of traditional enterprises,given full play to the market price mechanism,and achieved the comprehensive application of information technology,network technology,and digital technology in the social and economic fields.
