考辨咸丰元年冯子材被天地会刘八起义军裹胁及其逃附清军、投充团练勇目实情,以及有关地方官奏报、上谕与官修《钦定剿平粤匪方略》等史事讹误,并对冯子材奏请将《钦定剿平粤匪方略》中"贼目冯子材"改为冯子林事置评.
