A Case Study of the Homebound Instruction for Disabled Children and Adolescents in Xinjiang
Taking homebound instruction teachers in ethnic minority areas of Xinjiang as the research ob-ject,the case study method has been used to present the implementation process and effectiveness, and it has been found that there were gaps in the implementation of the policy of homebound instruction, and the implementation effect was biased;the main body of the homebound instruction was relatively single, and the teachers'capacity for rehabilitation and training was weak;the system of multi-departmental co-operative mechanism was not perfect. So the system of support and guarantee for homebound instruction needs to be improved.Recommendations are made that precise implementation of the policy of home-bound instruction to ensure that the work of homebound instruction is carried out in a solid manner,to promote in-depth construction of the team that delivers education, realizing the professional growth of in-dividual teachers, and to reinforc the system of social support and guarantee,in order to form a synergy of education among families, schools and society, and to promote the healthy development of homebound instruction work with disabled children together.
