The Analysis of Research Outputs of Middle School Teachers in Quanzhou City Based on Bibliometrics
The research object is the research outputs of middle school teachers in Quanzhou City from 1993 to 2022 on CNKI.On the basis of bibliometric analysis,the article statistically analyzed the total re-search outputs,journal papers,core journal papers,conference papers,per capita research outputs,cita-tion frequency,top 10 journals in terms of published papers,and top 10 schools in terms of research out-puts of middle school teachers.The current situation of research outputs of middle school teachers in Quanzhou City was analyzed.The total research outputs,journal paper volume,and personal outputs rate of middle school teachers in Quanzhou City all showed an increasing trend followed by a decreasing trend with the growth of the year,and overall showed an increasing trend.The number of core journals published by middle school teachers in Quanzhou was relatively small,and the proportion was relatively low.Except for being published in three educational journals in Fujian Province,the top 10 journals with the highest number of publications by middle school teachers in Quanzhou were all those with shorter publication cycles and larger total page numbers in a single issue.There was a significant gap in research outputs between different middle schools,and the top 10 schools in Quanzhou City in terms of research outputs were all high-quality schools.The research outputs with low citation frequency accounts for the majority of the research outputs of middle school teachers in Quanzhou City.Finally,suggestions were proposed to improve the research level of middle school teachers in Quanzhou City from the perspectives of education administrative departments,schools,and teachers.
