The Mixture of Nanyin Tradition and Modern Innovation:Taking Plum Blossom Exercise as an Example
This article discusses in depth how Mr.Yang Shuangzhi successfully transformed the ancient Nanyin score Plum Blossom Exercise into a piano suite,achieving a perfect combination of Nanyin and modern piano music.Mr.Yang Shuangzhi has not only faithfully preserved the basic elements of Nanyin in the creative process,but also skilfully used the expressive techniques of the piano,in this way the work has showed not only the ancient and simple flavour of Nanyin,but also the richness and colourfulness of modern piano music.This innovative attempt not only enriches the expression of Nanyin,but also pro-vides new possibilities for the inheritance and development of traditional music.
