The Red Drama in the Soviet Area of Western Fujian came into being under specific historical conditions.As an important means for the Communist Party of China to carry out propaganda work,the Red Drama is not only a comprehensive stage art,but also an artistic weapon for the Communist Party of China to carry out revolution,and an important part of revolutionary culture.Red drama reflects the real-ity in its special way,which supported the social revolution through various forms,such as costume per-formance,live newspaper,stage play,musical theater and traditional opera.It had the function of enter-taining the public and educating the people.In its continuous development,it has became an important tool for the Communist Party of China to promote and mobilize.
