The impact suffered when the crane running on the track is related to the structure type of crane,wheel diameter,running speed and the state of track joints.The vertical vibration dynamic model and differential equation of the 2-DOF crane traveling mechanism system were established.Considering the high-low dislocation and gap excitation at the track joint when the traveling mechanism is running,a simulation model was constructed based on Matlab/Simulink to study the vibration characteristics of the traveling mechanism under high-low dislocation excitation,gap excitation and superimposed excitation respectively.The results show that the vertical vibration of the travelling mechanism system is greatly influenced by the high-low dislocation excitation at the track joint,but the influence of the gap excitation on the system can be ignored.The running speed of the travelling mechanism has little effect on the peak value of vibration acceleration of the system.The vibration impact on the crane body is basically inversely proportional to the wheel radius.
