In this paper,the assembly characteristics of ordinary drum and large-diameter drum are compared,the structural characteristics of large-diameter drum are introduced,the difficulties in assembly of large-diameter drum and split herringbone teeth are described,and the concrete solutions to the problems in assembly are given.When assembling,the corresponding processing and testing equipment and tooling are combined to ensure the accurate and efficient assembly and assembly precision of the drum and herringbone teeth.The assembly of split herringbone teeth and drum described in this paper is the first attempt in drum assembly,which not only provides a reference for the assembly of other drums with similar structures,but also lays a foundation for manufacturing drums that meet the design requirements.
