With the rapid development of China's economy and tourism,as a convenient and fast means of transportation,passenger ropeway has attracted more and more attention.Now,a large number of ropeways in China have been in operation for more than 15 years,and these ropeways are seriously worn and aged.It is urgent to scientifically and systematically inspect and test these old ropeway,so as to ensure that they are in good condition.Visual inspection,stress test,vibration test,infrared imaging and nondestructive testing were carried out to inspect,test and comprehensively evaluate ropeways and their components,so as to ensure their safe operation.
